Elliot Askari is Director of Portfolio Management at Tides Equities. In his prior role, he worked as Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Standard Management Company, a Los Angeles based investment firm specializing in value-add multifamily real estate investments across the western United States.  Mr. Askari was integral in growing the real estate portfolio to over $1 Billion in the multifamily and commercial sector to 3,200 units and over 600,000 square feet respectively across California, Nevada, Denver, and Oklahoma.  Mr. Askari was the lead underwriter at Standard Management and played a critical role in managing the portfolio and repositioning assets.

His wealth of experience encompasses acquisitions, due diligence, asset management, investor relations, and dispositions. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and holds a California Real Estate Broker license.
